I decided to enter The Seventh Annual Life Lessons Essay Contest, brought on by Real Simple Magazine. This year’s theme is to describe a moment of clarity, where everything made sense for a split second, or changed your life forever. This is my first time entering a writing contest and I’m excited/nervous. The deadline to submit essays is Sept. 18th, so I have plenty of time to revise. I already finished a first draft, where I find comfort during my quarter-life crisis knowing that others are experiencing it and it’s making me confident to get through it. (I hope that goes with the theme…)
